چکیده

In this paper, two types of adsorption materials SA-C-Fe and SA-C-Fe(C) were prepared using bagasse biochar produced by one-step microwave pyrolysis activation for Cr(VI) removal wastewater. The characterized, performance, kinetics thermodynamics on studied. Results show that pyrolysis/activation contributes to developed pore structure abundant active functional groups, resulting in high capacities. optimal preparation conditions is: power 500 W, ZnCl 2 /bagasse ratio 2.5:1 time 15 min, the specific surface area is 1,787.64 m /g. more line with pseudo-second-order kinetic model, process dominated chemical adsorption. static experiment has best effect at pH = 2, whole Langmuir-Freundlich isotherm model. Calculated pseudo-two-order model isothermal maximum rate are 211.87 mg/g 388.92 mg/g, respectively. mainly three mechanisms: electrostatic adsorption, ion exchange redox reactions. improvement capacity attributed structure. results offer beneficial reference application low-cost carbon-based pollutants separation, effectively realize utilization by-products.

Microfluidic one-step synthesis of alginate microspheres immobilized with antibodies.

Micrometre- and submicrometre-size functionalized beads are frequently used to capture targets of interest from a biological sample for biological characterizations and disease diagnosis. The main challenge of the microbead-based assay is in the immobilization of probe molecules onto the microbead surfaces. In this paper, we report a versatile droplet microfluidics method to fabricate alginate ...

Biochar from anaerobically digested sugarcane bagasse.

This study was designed to investigate the effect of anaerobic digestion on biochar produced from sugarcane bagasse. Sugarcane bagasse was anaerobically digested to produce methane. The digested residue and fresh bagasse was pyrolyzed separately into biochar at 600 degrees C in nitrogen environment. The digested bagasse biochar (DBC) and undigested bagasse biochar (BC) were characterized to det...
